A little FYI on fishing regulation changes for the Upper French/ Nipissing watershed for the 2007 season.
Currently this system is Division 27, in 2007 it will become Fisheries Managment Zone 11 (FMZ 11).
The fishing season will remain open until December 31 (currently closes October 15)
Muskellunge - Minimum length limit 48" (currently 36")
Northern Pike - Only two (2) greater than 24" of which only one (1) may be greater than 34".
Walleye - there will be no change in the current walleye slot and the walleye season will close October 15.
